Pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can be some of life’s most meaningful experiences—but they can also bring unexpected emotional challenges. Whether you are navigating anxiety during pregnancy, postpartum depression, birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, or difficulties adjusting to parenthood, you deserve compassionate, specialized support.
I am a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified (PMH-C) clinician through Postpartum Support International (PSI) with advanced training in trauma and nervous system regulation during the perinatal period. My additional training includes Foundations: The Journey Through Pregnancy and Early Parenthood with Kate White, SEP, as well as advanced Somatic Resolution Skills for Perinatal Trauma with Kate White, SEP, and Abi Blakeslee, SEP.
My approach integrates evidence-informed psychotherapy with body-oriented therapies, including Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, Yoga Therapy, Relational Gestalt Therapy, and attachment-focused psychotherapy. Together, these approaches help address not only emotional distress but also the nervous system responses that often accompany pregnancy, birth, and early parenting experiences.
I work with individuals experiencing:
- Pregnancy and postpartum anxiety
- Perinatal depression
- Birth trauma
- Pregnancy loss and grief
- Infertility-related stress
- Difficult transitions to parenthood
- Attachment and bonding concerns
- Trauma that emerges or resurfaces during pregnancy and postpartum
Treatment is individualized and collaborative, recognizing that every person’s journey into parenthood is unique. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process your experiences, strengthen your resilience, deepen your connection with yourself and your family, and move toward healing.
In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer Yoga Therapy, body-based groups, and workshops designed to support nervous system regulation during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
