What is your fee?
My current fee for individual psychotherapy is $275 per 50-minute session.
Fees for extended sessions, professional consultation, Yoga Therapy, classes, workshops, and other services may vary depending on the service and length of the session.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly and am considered an out-of-network provider. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
Because coverage varies by plan, I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network benefits.
Do you offer in-person and virtual therapy?
Yes. In-person psychotherapy is available at my office in Claremont, California.
I also provide telehealth psychotherapy to clients located in states where I am licensed: California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, and Washington.
Who do you work with?
I primarily work with adults and couples, with areas of specialization including trauma and complex PTSD, dissociation, eating disorders, relationship concerns, perinatal mental health, and attachment-related concerns.
I also have extensive previous experience working with adolescents, including adolescents receiving treatment for eating disorders and other mental health concerns. While adolescent therapy is no longer a primary specialty of my practice, I may work with older adolescents when the presenting concerns and my areas of expertise are a good fit.
What approaches do you use?
My work is relational, experiential, and body-centered. Depending on your needs, therapy may integrate Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, Relational Gestalt Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Yoga Therapy, attachment-focused psychotherapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-informed approaches.
Treatment is individualized rather than based on a single therapeutic model.
Do you offer EMDR and Somatic Experiencing® virtually?
Yes. EMDR and many Somatic Experiencing® interventions can be incorporated into telehealth psychotherapy when clinically appropriate.
How these approaches are used will vary depending on your history, needs, resources, treatment goals, and ability to engage safely in a virtual setting.
Do you incorporate movement or therapeutic touch into psychotherapy?
When clinically appropriate, psychotherapy may include body-centered interventions such as somatic awareness, movement, breath, grounding, and other experiential practices.
Somatic Experiencing® table work and therapeutic touch may also be incorporated into treatment with some clients. Touch is never required and is used only following discussion and explicit consent. Clients may decline, pause, or stop any touch-based intervention at any time.
What is the difference between psychotherapy and Yoga Therapy or classes?
Psychotherapy is mental health treatment focused on your individual clinical needs and treatment goals.
Yoga Therapy, classes, workshops, retreats, and other experiential offerings may incorporate movement, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, restorative practices, Yoga Nidra, the yoga wall, and other body-centered approaches.
Stand-alone classes, workshops, and retreats are educational and experiential offerings and are not psychotherapy.
Do you have experience with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community or sign language?
Yes. I earned my bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies and earlier in my career worked extensively with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, including Deaf adolescents in educational settings.
While I am no longer actively involved in the Deaf community and do not currently specialize in providing therapy specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, this background continues to inform my understanding of Deaf culture, communication, and the experiences of individuals and families in which hearing status and communication differences are relevant.
If you or a family member uses sign language or Deaf/Hard of Hearing experiences are relevant to what brings you to therapy, you are welcome to contact me to discuss whether my current practice would be an appropriate fit.
Do you provide therapy in Spanish?
I have previous professional experience working with Spanish-speaking clients and have used Spanish within clinical settings.
However, I do not currently present myself as a Spanish-language or bilingual therapist, and Spanish-language psychotherapy is not a specialty service of my practice.
If language needs are an important consideration in treatment, we can discuss this when determining whether my practice is an appropriate fit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to the full session fee.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of care.
