A journey toward integrative care

My professional journey has shaped the integrative approach I bring to therapy today. Early in my career, I earned a bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies and worked with Deaf adolescents in educational settings, an experience that deepened my appreciation for communication, culture, and the importance of adapting therapy to each individual's unique needs.
After earning my master's degree in counseling, I worked in residential eating disorder treatment, community mental health, and crisis intervention. These experiences provided extensive training in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing eating disorders, complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, depression, addictions, family conflict, and other mental health concerns. Working alongside psychiatrists, physicians, dietitians, and multidisciplinary treatment teams strengthened my belief that effective care is both collaborative and individualized.
An individualized approach to lasting change
Since opening my private practice in 2011, I have specialized in trauma, complex PTSD, dissociation, eating disorders, relationship concerns, perinatal mental health, and attachment-based therapy. My work integrates EMDR, Relational Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Experiencing®, Yoga Therapy, and other evidence-informed approaches to help clients move beyond symptom management and toward lasting change.
Teaching, consultation, and ongoing learning
In addition to providing psychotherapy, I enjoy teaching, consulting, and supervising other clinicians. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C), Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified Gestalt Therapist, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I also provide individual consultation for therapists and remain committed to ongoing advanced training in trauma, somatic, and body-based approaches.
In person and online
Today, I provide in-person psychotherapy in Claremont, California, and telehealth services for clients located in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, and Washington.
